I love and celebrate redemption in any form. For many of the people who have been a part of Faithful & True, technology, in its various forms, has been a place of destruction and pain. In recovery, people discover various ways that technology can actually support their journey of healing and begin to use their devices to connect to community, meet with counselors and therapists, and listen to podcasts.

One of the ways Faithful & True seeks to support people is through our podcasts. I have been the host of the Faithful and True Podcast (together with co-host Randy Evert) for almost 4 years since the death of Dr. Mark Laaser in 2019. During this time, we have seen a significant increase in listeners as we bring more and more content for both men, women, and marriages. The Faithful & True podcasts are based on a message of hope and transformation that I believe people are longing to hear.

Our Vision

In the podcasts, our team invites and challenges men and women as they seek to become the people that God created them to be. We encourage people to live in freedom from addiction, betrayal, bitterness, resentment, and fear. The invitation comes from our own stories and experiences. The Faithful & True Podcast is growing because our team of wise, insightful, and articulate staff are willing to join Randy and me for meaningful conversations. We also benefit from the guests who join us to share their expertise and wisdom. We are thankful for the vision of our producer, Aaron Wellmann, who continues to expand the opportunities to share the message of Faithful & True.

With that in mind, I want to extend a few invitations. First, if you have not listened to one of the podcasts, I encourage you to give it a try. Our desire is that the message is meaningful and encouraging. Second, if you have a suggestion for a podcast topic, please email Randy, the podcast co-host, with any suggestions you might have at revert@faithfulandtrue.com. And third, we want to curate a collection of podcasts around a specific topic or audience that we can promote and make available as people reach out who are new to recovery.

To begin with, we are wanting to identify 3 or 4 podcasts that might be helpful for a man who is new to or considering recovery, a wife that is early in discovery, teenagers/young adults who might be struggling, and couples who are early in discovery. Our hope is that through your feedback, we can create a collection of podcasts that can address a specific need or circumstance. Let us know which podcasts you’ve found helpful early in your journey. Please send your suggestions to revert@faithfulandtrue.com.

Again, thank you for your support and encouragement as our team seeks to be a messenger of hope and transformation for men and women who are hurting from the pain of sexual addiction and relational betrayal.
